Obstetric Sonography

Obstetric sonography has become a useful procedure in the assessment of women’s cervix who are at risk of giving premature birth. Additionally, ultrasonography is a must for women who experience preterm contractions, as those whose cervix length exceeds 30 mm and are unlikely to deliver within the subsequent weeks.

The procedure of obstetric sonography includes the following :
