Pulmonology
At our Clinic, the diagnosis of Pulmonology problems is performed with a physical examination and gathering of medical history. It is followed by:
Spirometry – This test determines the volume and speed of airflow inhaled or exhaled by your lungs. You will be asked to take a deep breath and exhale into the device, which then displays the volume and rate of airflow, thus throwing light on any abnormalities or obstructions.

Image tests – Tests such as Chest X- rays or CT scans are used to identify possible structural abnormalities of the respiratory system.
How can we help?
Depending on the diagnosis of your respiratory condition, our team recommends the most effective choice of treatment.
Our lung treatment plans extend to psychological support, health education and advanced care planning, as respiratory problems significantly impact the quality and length of the patient’s life. In particular, in cases where intensive care is required, our experts suggest specific treatment procedures designed to provide an optimum outcome. They may include certain conditions such as exposure to toxins and allergens.
Prolonged exposure to certain elements such as tobacco smoke, asbestos, coal mining fumes and certain types of animals usually bring about respiratory disorders. Our treatment plan will, in such cases, focus on reducing the exposure to those elements while combating the symptoms caused by the exposure.
Long Life Support
We, at Long Life Speciality Clinic, offer a full range of consultation services to evaluate acute or chronic pulmonary diseases and disorders. Our distinguished team of pulmonologists and modern facilities come together to deliver high-quality care and successful outcomes, thus ensuring as normal a life as possible for the care seeker.
